Sumpter Pines RV Park Reservation
Policy
Special Note: Winter rates are in effect which means an additional $2.00 charge per night to help with heating the bathroom facility. If using electric heaters instead of propane, another $2.00 charge per night to help cover additional costs. Sorry for the additional costs, but winters here are extreme.
We are a small RV park. When we take
reservations we hold that campsite specifically for you and turn
others away for that time frame in order to guarantee your campsite.
When people reserve a campsite and do not call to cancel we lose our
livelihood and others lose the opportunity to visit
Sumpter.
Large groups, specifically
GoodSam Caravans and any group of 3 or more RV's, we must ask that
your stay be paid in full prior to arrival. This is non-refundable and must cover the entire number of days that you will be here.
The following is our reservation policy:
No Exceptions.
To our loyal guests and friends we are most
grateful for your patronage and regret that we must change our
policy so drastically.
But the times demand that to stay in business we must take a
different stance when providing services.
We can no longer make reservations with just
a promise of a person’s arrival. ALL stays with us must be
prepaid, in advance, when you make your reservation. No exceptions. We accept Visa, MasterCard
and money orders or cashiers checks. Please check with us for our
cancellation policy as it differs for individuals and groups. All Flea Market reservations
are non-refundable.

If you are
not a Good Sam member, we have the ability to sell you a one year
membership for half price ($12.00). Ask us about it.
Lodging
tax is 7% County and 1% State, for a total of 8%, added to all
rates with the exception of Monthly. We have no control over
this.
Large groups
are required to put up a $200.00 refundable damage
deposit, which will be returned at the end of the stay upon a
positive inspection of the shower and restroom facilities and their
campsites.
ALL
children AND teenagers must be supervised at all times in the
campground and facilities, we reserve the right to ask you to leave
if there are unruly children, unleashed or aggressive pets, and you
will forfeit all monies paid.
Special
note:
Our water pressure here is 120 PSI. Please
bring a water pressure regulator with you to prevent damage to your
water hose and/or RV. We can not express this strong enough.
Turning down the nozzle will not reduce the
120 PSI, and
will still damage your hose and/or RV. If you do not have one,
we can rent one to you for $5.00 for the duration of your stay with
a $10.00 deposit, or you may purchase one from us for $15.00. The
water pressure is beyond our control, it is supplied to us by
the City of Sumpter.
Fire
Pits:
We have fireplace pits that are enclosed to
prevent sparks. We are in the Sumpter city limits and
we are not allowed to have open fireplace rings. We
rent the fireplace pit for $2.00 per night, and each bundle of wood
is $3.00, but you may bring your own fire wood if you wish. A
special note, the state may impose a ban of using any open flames,
in a pit or not if conditions apply that may cause a hazard to the region. Sometimes the state
puts a state wide ban on all fires. Propane fire place pits are
allowed since they do not discharge any sparks and BBQ grills
are allowed. Please call first to ask about conditons.
